I found my copy at the end of 1999 in San Clemente, California. Through an ad and a payment of $3,000, I got a 6,000-mile “old” motorcycle with the conversion I was looking for. The frame number is CB450-1014797, the engine number CB450E-1012638.
As always with such relatively unknown new acquisitions, the motorcycle is completely dismantled, checked, worn parts replaced, and everything put back together again. Then we have it in mint condition. Only the blue paint job didn’t meet my expectations, so it was repainted in “pearl silver” – a classic and timeless combination. It thus joined my collection and has remained with “0” km on the odometer to this day. Preserved on the inside and waxed on the outside, it remains a showpiece of a type that has become very rare.
